Anayo Modestus Onyekwere popularly known tp us as Kanayo O. Kanayo is a beloved actor who has graced our screens for many years now. He has starred in movies such as Living in Bondage, Lionheart, Up North, and more and is also a fan-favorite on social media. On the 1st of March this year, Kanayo O. Kanayo that was born on March 1st, 1962 will be clocking 60!

2. Rochas Okorocha

Nigerian politician and former governor of Imo State, Owelle Rochas Anayo Okorocha is another celebrity who will be clocking 60 this year. The former governor will be celebrating his 60th birthday on the 22nd of September this year.

3. Jide Obi

Nigerian singer Jide Obi is a music star who was wildly popular in the 1980s. The singer released his debut album Front Page News in the early 80s and made such hit songs as Kill Me With Love and the song Front Page News. The singer is another celebrity who will be clocking 60 this year.

Eugenia Abu is a Nigerian broadcast journalist, writer, poet and media consultant, best known as a former news anchor and correspondent for the Nigerian Television Authority NTA. She anchored the 9:00pm news on NTA for seventeen years. On the 19th of October this year, Eugenia too will be clocking the big 6-0!

Nigerian lawyer and politician, Chief Godswill Obot Akpabio is the current minister of Niger Delta, a former Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and the Senate’s Minority Leader. On the 9th of December this year, Chief Godswill Akpabio will be clocking 60 as well.

Nigerian actor, Hakeem Kae-Kazim known for starring in such productions as Starz’ Black Sails and Hotel Rwanda is another man who will on the 1st of October this year be turning 60 years old.

Olufela Olufemi Anikulapo Kuti known popularly as Femi Kuti is a popular Nigerian musician and saxophonist. He is the eldest son of Afrobeat pioneer Fela Kuti and has gone on to have a very impressive musical career of his own. On the 16th of June this year, Femi too is another celebrity who will be clocking 60.

Taiwo Olayinka Afolabi is a Nigerian business magnate and lawyer who is the founder of SIFAX Group, a conglomerate that deals in Maritime, Aviation, Haulage, Hospitality, Financial Services and Oil and Gas. He will on the 29th of April this year also clock 60.

9. Bukola Saraki

Olubukola Abubakar Saraki was the governor of Kwara State from 2003 to 2011, 13th President of the Senate of Nigeria from 2015 to 2019 and Chair of the 8th Nigeria National Assembly. On the 19th of December this year, the popular politician will also be clocking 60.

10. Ibukun Awosika

Ibukun Awosika is a renowned Nigerian business woman, motivational speaker, and an author. She was also the former Chairman of the First Bank of Nigeria. Ibukun will on the 24th of December this year also clock 60.

11. Femi Otedola

Rounding out the list is Nigerian billionaire Femi Otedola. Femi is a businessman, philanthropist, and former chairman of Forte Oil PLC. He is also the founder of Zenon Petroleum and Gas Ltd, and the owner of a number of other businesses across shipping, real estate and finance. Femi will on the 4th of November this year clock 60.
